Check that your thermostat is working properly:-

Is your thermostat set to match the temperature of your home? If your thermostat is not working properly, your furnace maintenance will not be able to function properly. A thermostat’s performance can be harmed by dirt and incorrect calibration.

Examine the air filter:-

It is critical to change your air filters on a regular basis. Air filters maintain the quality of your indoor air and aid in the prevention of airborne illnesses and allergens. However, as filters accumulate dirt and dust, their ability to clean the air decreases and your furnace maintenance must work harder to push and pull air through the filters. This means higher energy bills and less consistent air temperature throughout your home. Keep an eye on the control valve:-

For safety reasons, most furnaces will include a control valve. This is one of the first places to look if your furnace isn’t producing heat. The control valve will be located on the supply line during gas furnace maintenance. Check that this valve is in the “on” position and that gas can enter your furnace. Simply put, if there is nothing to burn, your furnace will not produce heat.
