SERVICE
Serving each other and the community is woven throughout the fabric of Gibault. Each student is required to give four hours of service to the school each year. Students routinely tutor other students, work important events at Gibault such as Oktoberfest or the chicken and dumpling dinner, or collect canned goods for local food pantries. In addition, freshmen participate in the Angel Tree project each year gathering Christmas gifts for the children of those in prison. Our students are familiar faces to Waterloo nursing home residents and government officials. The service experience during the first three years at Gibault prepares students for the commitment needed for the 3-week service project during their senior year.
