RETREATS Each Gibault class has a retreat during the school year to enhance spiritual growth and deepen faith. Freshmen and sophomores each have one-day retreats that focus on community, team building, and trust in one another and in God. Juniors and seniors each have an overnight retreat at retreat centers near Waterloo. The two-day experience for each class focuses on relationships with God, family, friends, and the community at large. If a student is unable to attend a school-sponsored retreat, freshmen and sophomores may attend a Quest retreat while the juniors and seniors may attend a Teens Encounter Christ retreat. The Diocese of Belleville sponsors both the Quest and TEC retreats. Class retreats are required for graduation from Gibault Catholic High School.
