PEER COUNSELORS

Peer Counselors are Gibault seniors who are in good standing, and who have been approved by the moderators, faculty, and existing peer counselors.

Peer Counselors are in place for the students. They are not only trained to counsel those with problems, but also get to know the underclassmen and be a friend for them.

Peer Counselors meet once every 6 school days to discuss pending projects and issues, help new freshmen at orientation, organize and manage the freshmen retreat, plan and supervise additional activities, and are assigned a freshmen or sophomore homeroom for the entire school year.
