ADMISSIONS PROCESS

If you are a student who wants to achieve academically, grow spiritually, and serve others, you will thrive at Gibault.  Our unique, flexible schedule allows you the freedom to see teachers one-on-one for extra help, work in groups, or take extra classes.  We value diversity and admit students regardless of race, religion, or ethnic origin. 

To be considered as an applicant for the 2008-2009 school year, the following must be completed.

  1. Application Form and Fee
    Complete the or, attach a check for $100 made payable to Gibault Catholic High School and send to our office at 501 Columbia Avenue, Waterloo, IL  62298.
  2. Records
    Request your records from your current school to be mailed to Gibault.  Records include your last report card and any standardized test scores.
  3. Placement Test - Incoming Freshman
    Sit for the placement test in January, 2009.
  4. Interview
    For those who are transferring from another high school, you must make an appointment for an interview that includes your parents and a representative of the administration.

Deadline for the admission process is January 31, 2009.  All paperwork should be received by this date to ensure proper review of the student's application.  Acceptance letters are mailed in mid-February.

Applications received after January 31, 2009 will be considered on an individual basis, if space is available.
