ADMISSIONS PROCESS
If you are a student who wants to achieve academically, grow spiritually, and serve others, you will thrive at Gibault. Our unique, flexible schedule allows you the freedom to see teachers one-on-one for extra help, work in groups, or take extra classes. We value diversity and admit students regardless of race, religion, or ethnic origin.
To be considered as an applicant for the 2013-2014 school year, the following must be completed.
- Application Form and Fee
Complete the downloadable application or click here for transfer student application, attach a check for $50 made payable to Gibault Catholic High School and send to our office at 501 Columbia Avenue, Waterloo, IL 62298.
- Incoming Freshmen -Download an Incoming Freshman Request for Records and submit to your current grade school/junior high. Records include your last report card and any standardized test scores.
- Transfer students - Download a Request for Student Records. A parent/guardian must sign the form and return it to Gibault. Our office will send it on to your high school.
- Placement Test - Incoming Freshman
Sit for the placement test in December, 2012 or by appointment.
- Interview
For those who are transferring from another high school, you must make an appointment for an interview that includes your parents and a representative of the administration.
Deadline for the admission process is January 31, 2013. All paperwork should be received by this date to ensure proper review of the student's application. Acceptance letters are mailed in mid-February.
Applications received after January 31, 2013 will be considered on an individual basis, if space is available.
